Voice of Travelers to Yellowknife

Yellowknife trip

Hey, I am Patsy. My trip to Yellowknife in Summer was very memorable. My flight to Yellowknife was more memorable than my actual trip. I had bought my ticket way ahead in advance, almost 10 months beforehand. I kept the printed copy of the ticket safe in my cupboard. I did not get an electronic copy of the ticket because I am old school. When it was time for me to go, I put the ticket in my bag and went to the airport. However, my ticket copy got lost. My fight to Yellowknife was in 3 hours but I had no ticket. I was so nervous. I called the airline customer service to let them know I lost the ticket. They were actually very understanding. They instantly sent me another copy of it online. In the end I used the electronic ticket to reach Yellowknife.

Ticket for Yellowknife

This is Rob and I took my family to Yellowknife for summer this year. I found a deal on the ticket price so I got one ticket for each of my 4 family members. My kids really enjoyed the mild summer and outdoor activities. We did fishing, hunting, boating, went on tours, visited many festivals and enjoyed family time together. My kids now want me to buy a ticket for them for the winter because they want to see the aurora borealis in Yellowknife. I am saving up for a ticket or looking for ticket deals. I do want to take them because I am sure it will be beautiful but I am afraid the weather might be too harsh. I spoke to a friend of mine who went to Yellowknife in Winter. He said the experience was so great that he did not mind the weather. Hope I am able to save up for the ticket soon.
