Voice of Travelers to Jackson (Mississippi)

Great time in Jackson with an onward ticket to Memphis

I traveled on an onward ticket from Atlanta through Jackson to Memphis. I purchased the ticket with Delta Airlines . This ticket was expensive, but I really wanted to see Jackson on my way, so I bought this ticket instead a regular direct ticket to Memphis. Delta Airlines offered great service and good food was included in the price of the airfare ticket onboard - totally worth the airfare ticket. I spent most of my three days in Jackson and its museums. With a direct ticket to Vanuatu, this would not have been possible. I fell in love with Jackson and its music. I am more than happy that I didn't buy a direct ticket to Memphis because with such ticket I would have missed discovering Jackson.

Cheap ticket to Jackson with some minor Issues

I found a very cheap package deal for Jackson including return ticket with hotel included. Not knowing much about Jackson, I preferred the package over a ticket. However, the problem came when the flight with Delta from Washington D.C. wasn't confirmed and the airline wanted to rebook my ticket for a later date. I had to pay once again for a hotel in Jackson because the rebookign was not possible. The stay in Jackson was pleasant anyway and American Airlines delivered great service on the flight to Jackson as well as back.
