Voice of Travelers to Anchorage
My great experience at Anchorage
I am Natasha from Denver, Colorado. I teach Geography in school, and part of my discussion is on different city states including Anchorage. In order to better understand about the city, I booked a ticket straight to Anchorage. I flew through Alaska Airlines, one of the best airlines I have been to in a while. The staff were friendly and they knew what they were doing. When I reached Anchorage, I visited Tony Knowles Coastal Trail since my friend recommended it to me. The place was so serene and beautiful, I was already loving Anchorage. To discover about the culture of the city, I bought a ticket to enter Anchorage museum where I learned about a lot of things through their exhibitions. I also visited several sites including Alaska Native Heritage Center and and Anchorage Market and Festival. There were lots of natural sites to discover, I enjoyed my trip to Anchorage. I can’t wait to book another ticket back.
Anchorage is a Biologist's Best Friend
I am Frank, a Biology graduate from Hawaii. I do research of wildlife for a living. So when I chanced upon an ad showing the richness of Anchorage flora and fauna, I instantly booked a ticket going there. I boarded American Airlines. Their facilities are good, it is best to know that I am safe through the flight. When I reached Anchorage, I went straight to Chugach State Park where I spent more than a day hiking through the park. I found several noticeable species through my hike, and I noted them. Several natural parks which do not ask for a ticket are Potter Marsh, Kincaid Park, and Anchorage Coastal Wildlife Refuge. I was able to study different animal species including moose, which was not a native in our state. I also went to Alaska Botanical Garden where I also noted interesting plant species. Overall, my trip to Anchorage was very educational, I can’t wait to book another ticket to explore the rest of Alaska.
