Voice of Travelers to Watertown (New York)

Thinking of getting a ticket to Watertown

Hi, I am Sam and I am a third year undergraduate student in Toronto. I wanted to visit Watertown with my best friend because her grandmother lives there. We were thinking of which ticket to buy. First my friend suggested we get an airplane ticket to New York, then doing a road trip from there. Then, I found a better ticket deal. We got a airplane ticket that took us to Ottawa then to Syracuse Airport . We drove from Syracuse to Watertown. It was a great road trip and I am glad we got this ticket instead. As a history enthusiast, I absolutely loved it in Watertown. We visited the Jefferson County Historical Society and the Burrville Cider Mill. Both these places showed how way people lived from the 17th century to the 19th century. It was super cool watching the whole process being conducted in the mill. The scenery was also overall beautiful with water falls just overlooking the mills. I really enjoyed my weekend getaway at Watertown and we both are now saving up to buy another ticket to visit.

Ticket directly to Watertown

Hello, this is Suzy from Philadelphia. My husband and I took our 2 kids to Watertown for a week in summer. We flew directly from Philadelphia International airport to Watertown International Airport via American Airlines. It was amazing that when we bought our tickets, there was a ticket sale going on and we got 20% off on our tickets! We bought our ticket and flew to Watertown. Our children are used to the urban hustle bustle so Watertown was a big change for them. We were hesitant at first but in the end both my son and daughter loved the New York State Zoo, the many scenic parks, the local arcade, bowling alley, and watching baseball in Alex Duffy Fairgrounds. The funniest part was when our daughter accidentally threw our return ticket in the trashcan at the Zoo. We thought we will be buying another ticket. Thankfully, we had the electronic ticket still on email and just printed the ticket out.

Spending a free American Airline ticket on Watertown

Hi, this is Richard from North Carolina. Last month I won a free ticket to any city I choose. I chose to use that ticket for visiting my hometown, Watertown. My wife was first very upset that I chose to spend my free ticket on Watertown. My ticket was free but I had to buy one for her. When we got there, my wife said she was very happy I chose Watertown as the destination for my free ticket. She said we should save up to buy one ticket each year for Watertown because of the calm vibe. I would say, a free ticket well spent! However, I would visit Watertown any day of the year even if I had to buy the ticket.
