Voice of Travelers to Austin
Freshman at the University of Texas Austin
Hello, I am Anne from US. I was more than delighted when I got a Biomedical Engineering scholarship to the University of Texas at Austin. The University of Texas is ranked as one of the best universities for engineering education and research. I booked a ticket with Southwest Airlines and i was very happy with the customer service of the flight attendants. I did not regret purchasing my ticket from them. After purchasing my ticket I was entered into a draw which I won and ended up with giving me a free return ticket to and from Austin valid for six months. That was the best ticket purchase decision i have ever made in my life lol. The next morning I toured the university and the city of Austin in the afternoon with some students which the school had assigned to me.
Attending Austin City Limits Music Festival
Hello, I am Sam from UK. I had heard many stories about Austin being the live music capital of the world and decided that I would save and attend the 2016 Austin City Limits Music Festival. We each bought our festival ticket online. The festival runs on two consecutive weekends with each being three days. The festival was to run between September 30th to October 2nd and October 7th to 9th. My six friends and I booked the ticket with British Airways three months in advance so that we may get low ticket rates. The flight attendants were at our disposal, attending to our every need of food, drinks and blankets. On arrival, we were very jet lagged therefore we went directly to the villa that we booked through HomeAway website who were lodging partners for the festival. The music festival was beyond our imagination.
